A University of Pittsburgh panel that weighed fossil fuel divestment has delivered to school trustees for their review on Friday a report with options that stop short of completely eliminating those holdings in the near future, as activists have sought.
Since Friday, students prodding the University of Pittsburgh to divest itself of fossil fuel investments have staged a sit-in, watching and sometimes sleeping through the ebb and flow of humanity within the 42-story classroom tower.
