Marylanders are divided on whether climate change issues will have a major impact on the state and their future health, according to the latest Goucher College Poll.
The Florida House is expected Wednesday to approve a proposal that would establish a new resiliency office directly under Gov. Ron DeSantis, after Democrats were unable to make changes to address the causes of rising seas.
Earlier in the week, officials had said that the amount of oil spill may be as high as 144,000 gallons. However, on Thursday, officials said it may be under 30,000 gallons.
San Francisco has new targets for the cutting back on greenhouse gas emissions after the San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a set of climate change goals Tuesday.
"Trees and power lines don't mix. Climate change and the lack of federal funding in infrastructure and resilience is really what doesn't mix," said Pittsburgh Deputy Mayor Dan Gilman.
