NOAA used a mobile van to sample outdoor air in Louisville, Superior, and affected areas of unincorporated Boulder County 11 to 14 days after the Marshall Fire.
Less water available means the potential for a smaller crop yield, or a chance that crops fail due to drought. Some farmers are investing in different irrigation systems and turning to drought-tolerant crops.
