A Nova Scotia company that injects carbon dioxide into concrete has taken home a multimillion-dollar grand prize in a global competition aimed at tackling climate change.
Two startups won the $20 million Carbon Xprize for the companies' work cutting the carbon footprint in the production and creation of cement by repurposing the emissions.
