Plans have been submitted for the Isle of Man's first solar energy farm. The proposed 84-acre development in the south of the island would generate enough electricity to power nearly 8,000 homes per year, developers said.
Manx residents have been urged to choose interim targets to cut carbon emissions on the Isle of Man by 2030. A public consultation has been launched asking for views on what steps could be taken to achieve either a 35% or 45% reduction.
