Katharine Hayhoe won’t say that the climate crisis is insurmountable, but she will say that solving it depends on convincing people it’s a problem that affects them.
“We’ve got stronger droughts, crazy heat waves, wildfires [and] hurricanes dropping huge amounts of rain on us,” said Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, co-founder of the nonpartisan Science Moms group.
