We must look at lowering our carbon footprint. We must start implementing renewable energy measures and solutions, and, you know, from the top down and the bottom up.
Given the annual threat to Florida, our citizens and the economy, we can no longer afford to allow this issue to be fractured across partisan lines. We must work as Floridians for Floridians to keep the beauty of Florida for everyone and forever.
Florida is one of the epicenters of the climate crisis already raging in the United States. Unless Florida voters do something about it, the situation will only get worse.
Officials desperately need to explore new avenues both to pay for efforts to make us more resilient and to dramatically reduce dangerous carbon pollution so we don't make it worse. However, the looming question is: Will taxpayers be left with the bill?
Climate change is a much more visible and advanced threat than it was in 1988, and we could use Reagan's brand of conservative leadership in tackling that problem.
We can only achieve a cleaner, healthier Florida by electing officials committed to 100% clean energy by 2050 and investing in climate-resilient water infrastructure.
